Hyotan is said to be the oldest cultivated plant in the world, and has been processed and used as a daily necessities and ornaments since ancient times. There are many recorded examples of its use as a symbol of victory and as an ornament to bring good fortune. We have succeeded in commercializing these gourds as an edible product through our original development. Together with the red gourd, it can be used for a wide range of occasions such as weddings and New Year's.
