Pickled Gourd and Avocado Canapes

Baguette As needed
Grain mustard Small amount
Cream cheese As needed
Avocado 4 thick slices
Pickled Gourd 2 slices
Olive oil Small amount
Black pepper Small amount

作り方

Cut the baguette into slightly thick pieces and toast. Slice the avocado thickly. Slice the pickled gourd.

On the baguette, apply grain mustard and cream cheese.

Garnish with avocado, pickled gourd, olive oil, and black pepper.

Shibazuke is originated from Kyoto. Shibazuke, a bright purple pickle, is made using cucumber, eggplant, purple shiso (aka-jiso), ginger, and myoga that are then pickled in umezu (Japanese plum vinegar).
